The International Society of Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) is an international scientific organisation which has a few different places that digitalisation of agriculture (well, horticulture) will be on the agenda.
The Working Group for Mechanization, Digitization, Sensing and Robotics. Like most working groups at ISHS, they are not super active, but when they do get together, the information is really valuable and informative. Their next meeting is a symposium at IHC2026 in Kyoto, Japan.
This Working Group is part of the Division Precision Horticulture and Engineering. There is more activity within this Division, usually within other Working Groups.
There is also the ISHS Working Group Modelling of Postharvest Processes, within the Division Postharvest and Quality Assurance. This group organises the MODEL-IT symposium is were topics like the use of CFD to model post-harvest environments is discussed.
