650.01.01.01 SUGAR BEET CLAMP ENVIRONMENT CFD MODEL V2: TRANSLATION TO OpenFOAM11: MESH

At first glance, by comparing the blockMeshDict files from the OpenFOAM.org User Guide, the blockMesh utility may have seen some changes. For the “Stress analysis of a plate with a hole” example, the mergePatchPairs command has disappeared from the dictionary. For the “Breaking of a dam” example, defaultPatch command has appeared. However, looking at the OpenFOAM documentation between versions, mergePatchPairs remains in OF11, and defaultPatch is in neither. So, with that minimal level of investigation, the assumption is made that a blockMeshDict from OF9 will work in OF11.
